Artist Statement
I have explored the ritual of eating, and the importance of it being around the table as a family or social event. Influenced by my findings, I have created a dining service which is integrated into the table, forcing the user to be present when eating. I am influenced by eco design concepts; multifunctional being a running theme throughout my work. Aesthetically, I enjoy purity of form and clean simple lines. www.rebecca-a-hill.co.uk    |
